We have arrangements with  a small number book printers using high-tech digiital output. When your book is ready to go to press, you are provided with a final proof in .pdf format. The book is run on high-speed laser printers, collated and either perfect-bound or saddle-stitched. Normal turnaround is less than two weeks.

• How much will it cost? The advent of digital printing has sparked a revolution in self-publishing -- and costs have fallen dramatically. One client just had us do his 135-page paperback. He paid less than $5.00 each, including all pre-press work, for 1,000 copies. He will charge $11 a copy to booksellers, and sell them at retail for $19.95.

• Who owns the copyright? You do. SCP will secure the needed IBSN to assure you are completely protected against infringements.

• Why don't I find my own printer? You can. And you will only be charged for the pre-press work SCP does. But the printers we deal with have years of experience working with SCP, so there won't be any unpleasant surprises. We also speak their often-mysterious language.

• Tell us about your project, and we will give you an estimate. Use the Contact button above. We'll be happy to answer your questions.
